Leyton Orient will face Southend United in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy South Final. The O’s defeated Yeovil by one goal to nil to book their place in the area final, while the Shrimpers drew 3-3 with Oxford United after 90 minute but they eventually triumphed 5-3 on penalties.
Southend defeated AFC Wimbledon, Dagenham and Redbridge, Brentford and of course Oxford to make it this far. They have been runners-up in this competition on two previous occasions.
The first leg will take place at Brisbane Road on Tuesday 5th February at 19:45 and it will be live on Sky Sports. The second leg at Roots Hall will take place in the week commencing 18th February.
