Anthony Griffith has signed a one-year contract with Port Vale. There had been much speculation that Griffith would return to the Valiants on a permanent basis and now the deal has finally been agreed.
The 26 year-old joined the O’s from Port Vale last summer and he went on to make 28 appearances in Orient shirt. He was sent off on two occasions, against Crewe in September and again later in the season against Yeovil in the JPT. Following his suspension, Griffith struggled to get back into the side and as a result he returned to Vale Park on loan in March on a deal that ran until the end of the season. He made 10 appearances for Micky Adams’ side, helping them to achieve promotion from League Two.
Griffith had one year left on his contract with Orient.
