Former West Ham United left back Frazer Shaw is believed to be on trial with Leyton Orient.
Ian Hendon has already added former Hammers youngsters Blair Turgott and Paul McCallum to the Orient ranks and it appears as if he will continue to recruit players that he has previously worked with during his time as development coach at Upton Park.
Shaw started out at Arsenal but he was released at the age of 14. He then joined West Ham and he featured regularly for the Under-18s, the Development Squad and the Premier league Under 21s Elite League alongside Blair Turgott. He primarily played as an attacking left-back but he also featured in central midfield on occasion, which was his position at the start of his career.
Following his release from West Ham in May 2014 he signed for Isthmian League Premier Division side Billericy Town. However, Shaw was released in September 2014.
He went on to join Dulwich Hamlet and he made 39 appearances for the Division Isthmian League Premier Division side.
In May 2015 Shaw was called up to the England C squad to face the Republic of Ireland Under 21s. He played a full 90 minutes in the 2-1 victory on the 1st June.
The 20 year-old defender will now be hoping to earn a place in the Orient squad for the forthcoming season.
