Leyton Orient have announced that they will travel to Roots Hall on Sunday 2nd August to face Southend United (1pm kick-off).
The match will be part of Ian Hendon’s final preparations before the season begins with a home fixture against Barnet on the 8th August.
Southend United were promoted to League One via the play-offs last season, beating Wycombe Wanderers on penalties.
The O’s have not played the Southend since February 2013 when the Shrimpers won 3-2 over two legs to book their place in the JPT final.
