Cole Kpekawa is a product of the QPR youth academy and in April 2014 he signed his first senior contract with the club.
Cole got his first taste of senior football last season during a loan spell with Colchester United. His senior debut came against Coventry and the defender went on to make another four appearances for the U’s.
He returned to Loftus Road in January, but he was loaned out again soon after. He joined Portsmouth on loan in March but he made just two appearances for Pompey before being recalled by his parent club.
Kpekawa made his senior debut for QPR on the final day of the Premier League season as a late substitute in the 5-1 defeat to Leicester City.
Cole has made three appearances for QPR so far this season. He started the League Cup ties against Yeovil and Carlisle and he came off the bench in the latter stages of the league win over Rotherham United.
The young defender can play at either centre-back or left-back and he has represented his country at youth level, having recently been called up to the England Under-20 squad.
Cole will be hoping to make his Orient debut against York on Saturday, however he won’t be allowed to play for the O’s in the FA Cup.
