Leyton Orient have announced the signing of former Swindon Town centre-back Jamie Sendles-White. The 23-year-old had been on trial with the club this summer, appearing in a number of pre-season friendlies and he has impressed sufficiently to secure a one-year contract.

Jamie Sendles-White began his career with Queens Park Rangers in their youth system and he signed a pro-contract with the R’s in January 2012.
In September 2013, Sendles-White was loaned out to Colchester United on a one-month loan, however, he did not manage to make an appearance for the U’s.
Jamie made his senior debut in October 2014 while on loan at League Two Mansfield Town. During his two-month spell with the Stags, Sendles-White made eight appearances before returning to Loftus Road.
Sendles-White was released by QPR at the end of the 2014/15 season without having made a senior appearance for the club.
After an unsuccessful trial with Swindon Town in the summer of 2015, Jamie joined Scottish Premiership side Hamilton Academical in August 2015. The central defender made seven appearances for the Accies but his contract with the club was terminated in January 2016.
In February 2016, Sendles-White moved back to England, signing a contract with Swindon Town until the end of the 2015/16 season. After making ten appearances for the Robins, he was handed a one-year contract extension. Jamie made seven appearances at the start of the season but his season came to an end in September as he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
In May 2017, Sendles-White was released by Swindon.
In recent weeks, Jamie had been on trial with the O’s and had featured in a number of Orient’s pre-season friendlies.

Sendles-White also has some international experience at youth level. Jamie has been capped by Northern Ireland at Under-19, Under-20 and Under- 21 level.
