Leyton Orient have signed Dagenham & Redbridge defender Bondz N’Gala on a one-month loan deal. The move for the central defender comes with Jamie Sendles-White facing suspension, Mark Ellis’s loan from Carlisle expiring soon and the long-term injuries to George Elokobi and Josh Coulson. N’Gala will be eligible to face Torquay United on Saturday and he could well go straight into the side.
N’Gala began his career with West Ham and progressed through the youth system. He was loaned out to various clubs, having spells with Weymouth, MK Dons, Scunthorpe United and Plymouth Argyle.
He was released by the Hammers in the summer of 2010 and signed for Plymouth on a permanent basis. Spells with Yeovil Town, Stevenage and Portsmouth followed.
In the summer of 2014, Martin Allen took N’Gala to Barnet on a permanent deal and Bondz played 47 times as the Bees won the National League title.
He joined National League Eastleigh in November 2016 but left the club by mutual consent two months later. He ended last season with Dover Athletic before joining Dagenham & Redbridge back in June.
N’Gala made five appearances for John Still’s side at the start of the season but he hasn’t played for the Daggers’ first team since August.
